Databases
These are great places to start your research and are generally accepted as reputable sources of information.
A medical focused database with 187 journals to search. Can be a good resource for SCIENCE and PSYCHOLOGY. Full text access.
Open Access journal search. The Directory of Open Access Journals has a wide range of subjects. Can be used in SOCIAL STUDIES, ENGLISH, ART, and SCIENCE.
A good place to start general research if you want some factual answers to guide your initial questions. Infoplease searches an almanac, timelines, dictionary and thesaurus.
A wide range of topics can be accessed with this database. You will need to use your skills to determine the reliability of the sources you find, but generally they are reputable.
A large collection of publications, images and video. Basic and advanced search features exist.
Subject Specific Research Sources
These subject specific sites have great resources that can aid in your research projects. Although the sources should be credible, it is still important to evaluate any source you are using.
